GINGERBREAD SPICE MIX

It’s rather easy to make your own spice mixes. This is a great way to ensure that there are no hidden food additives in your spice mix. You can simply combine high-quality spices to create a flavorful blend and then store it in airtight containers. The gingerbread spice mix is a combination of spices that gives you the typical holiday flavor for all kinds of delicious Christmas treats. You can add it to your waffles, muffins, Linzer tarts, hot chocolate, and much more to add a festive touch. Don’t forget to label your spice mix so that you don’t confuse them!

 

INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground star anise
1/4 tsp ground pimento (allspice)
1/8 tsp ground coriander
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cardamom

INSTRUCTIONS
Add all of the ingredients to a small container with an airtight lid. Shake well and add a label.
